National Child Award for Exceptional Achievement in Academics by President of India
The National Child Award for Exceptional Achievement is the highest honour bestowed upon exceptional students in the country.
It was instituted by the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India to recognise children (under the age of 18) with exceptional abilities and who have achieved outstanding status in various fields including academics, arts, culture, design, innovation, research and sports. It is conferred only once to any single student. I received the award for Academics from Hon’ble ex-President Mr.Pranab Mukherjee in 2016. The next year, because we got our new (current) President Hon’ble Ram Nath Kovind, all the previous year’s awardees were re-invited to the ceremony of 2017 to interact with the new awardees, spread our experiences to the newbies and expand our horizons.
