It is truly an international competition, with over 20 countries participating. It is designed to promote chemistry and chemical thinking. Questions that go beyond what is covered in syllabus are to be answered by applying one’s knowledge and understanding to stimulus material; questions that only more able students can answer are surely to be there. Students who obtain a perfect score of 30 out of 30 receive a Certificate of Excellence and a Lapel Pin.
I have received a perfect score 4 times. Thus I also have lots of goodies from ANCQ.
